Ambiente virtual accesible basado en aprendizaje en retos: evaluación de la usabilidad, la inclusión y la percepción del aprendizaje en una telesecundaria de Veracruz, México

Resumen

En la educación secundaria, la incorporación de ambientes virtuales de aprendizaje enfrenta desafíos relacionados con la accesibilidad, la participación equitativa y la atención a la diversidad del estudiantado. En ese sentido, el objetivo fue evaluar la implementación de un ambiente virtual de aprendizaje accesible, basado en el Aprendizaje Basado en Retos, considerando la usabilidad, la accesibilidad, la adaptabilidad y la percepción del aprendizaje en estudiantes de educación secundaria. Se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo de alcance descriptivo, en el marco de una intervención educativa. La muestra se integró por 28 estudiantes de una telesecundaria del municipio de Xalapa, Veracruz, México. La intervención se desarrolló en cinco fases: diagnóstico, diseño bajo los principios del Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje, desarrollo, implementación y evaluación del AVA. Para la recolección de datos se empleó un cuestionario estructurado y la System Usability Scale (SUS). Los resultados mostraron un puntaje promedio de 84.6 en la escala SUS, lo que indica un nivel de usabilidad alto. Respecto a la accesibilidad, el 70% de los estudiantes reconoció que los recursos implementados fueron fáciles de aprender a utilizar; en cuanto a la adaptabilidad, el 80% confirmó que la plataforma le permitió personalizar su aprendizaje. Se concluye que el ambiente virtual implementado presentó niveles adecuados de usabilidad y una percepción favorable del aprendizaje, lo que evidencia su pertinencia como recurso educativo accesible y funcional para estudiantes de educación secundaria.
